Experience : 10 years’ experience in an accredited Calibration Lab.
Place : Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Qualification : An engineering Degree , preferably in Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or electronics.
Job Description : The accredited scope of the laboratory should cover the parameters Force, Pressure, Temperature, Dimensional, Electrical and Mass In the 10 years’ experience a minimum of 5 years should be in the position of Manager.
Training a. Overall responsibility to operate the lab in compliance to the standard ISO 17025 and EIAC regulations.
b. Drafting of Standard operating procedures for calibration activities in compliances to international standards and guidelines.
c. Preparation of CMC budgets for calibration activities
d. Preparation of spread sheets for the calculation of uncertainty during calibration.
e. Preparation of formats for the calibration certificates incompliance to relevant standards and ISO 17025
f. Providing training to technicians and prepare them for facing the technical assessors.
g. Attending the EIAC audit both technical and quality.
h. Liaison with EIAC in connection to the accreditation audit.
i. Liaison with calibration laboratory in connection with the calibration of the LAB’s reference instruments.
j. Liaison with the PT/ILC providers for the ILC requirement of the lab as per the regulations of EIAC.
k. Schedule the day to day calibration jobs of the lab as per the customer requirement.
l. Maintain the financial growth of the LAB as per the requirement of the budget set by the management.
m. Maintain the statutory requirements as per the regulations of Dubai government.
Training: a. Training in the standard ISO 17025 : 2017
b. Training in the evaluation of uncertainty during calibration.
